do i have to use itunes to upload music on my ipod ? i already have music on my computer . and for some reason i cant transfer ALL of my music to itunes so im wondering if i HAVE to use itunes to upload songs . & if i do HAVE to use itunes . . can someone please tell me how to transfer all my music step by step please . im using a “windows 7″ computer btw (note : i don’t have the ipod yet . im getting it for christmas ; just want to know these things in advance) thank you :)

No i think you can use windows mp3 or rapcity and all that?

    yes,itunes is only support stuff from itunes store,but if you want to transfer all your music including songs not from itunes store onto ipod,you can use leawo itransfer.

    Actually you can use the third-party software to sync music, but iTunes as the official tool, is the best tool for iPod sync.

    You have to use iTunes. There’s no reason that iTunes shouldn’t work. Why would you ask for step by step directions without specifying the steps you’ve taken or what file format the missing songs are in?

    You can just open a window for the folder containing the songs you want and drag the folders into the iTunes window. I don’t know if you’ve already tried this.

    No, iTunes is not necessary to upload music to iPod, but iTunes is the best freeware to do that.

    If you don’t like iTunes, You may try this ipod transfer, it’s a nice iTunes alternative that can help you manage iPod files including delete, upload, play, copy, etc. It’s much easier to use than iTunes. My friends recommend it to me, it works pretty well.
