How to get my ipod connected to computer that already has itunes?
Question by : How to get my ipod connected to computer that already has itunes?
I had a laptop with my own itunes that was connected to my ipod nano, now i don’t have the laptop anymore, and want to switch my ipod to my other computer. My sister has her ipod connected to that computer though, so now the computer wont recognize my ipod. How can I get my ipod connected to the other computer without deleting her itunes? I don’t mind if my songs get deleted.

She has her own account on itunes so she could log out from her account and you could log in with yours. When youre done just let her log back in to her itunes account.

go to http://www.itunes.com and download the most recent version of iTunes and install it then connect and it should work. If that doesn’t work you’ll have to open iTunes and click on Edit > Preferences. In the preferences window click on the Devices tab and delete all of the listed devices. Make sure your sister is close by so she can create anotehr backup of her iPod at the same time, but that will allow you both to sync with the iTunes library.
